Haunted Candy Hunt Supports a Safe, Stay-Home Halloween

Many families will be skipping the door-to-door trick-or-treating this October but there are plenty of spooky experiences that can be had during a stay-home Halloween thanks to augmented reality. Ferrara is working with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on an augmented reality experience of its own featuring the Ghostbusters franchise.

The Haunted Candy Hunt turns backyards, living rooms, kitchens and other home scenes into the only place to track down the Slimer ghost from the classic Ghostbusters films, as well as Sweeter the Ferrara Candy Ghost, a brand-new character that was created exclusively for the game.

Players are challenged to virtually capture the ghosts for their chance to win fun prizes like action figures or even complete Sony Home Theater Packages.
