Arboreal Stationary Pens

The 'Park Pens' Offer a Natural Writing Utensil Body Made from Branches

The 'Park Pens' are a collection of stationary pens made using small branches and twigs that have been converted into fully functional writing utensils. The pens are designed by artist Nezi Sato and they find a way to utilize fallen twigs into a product that retains the beauty of the plant in everyday life.

The collection of pens are each unique depending on the sizing and type of branch used. The woodland collection features dozens of styles as each branch is between two and fifteen millimetres in length. The twigs are sharpened, hollowed out and replaced with an ink cartridge to render the utensils functional for everyday use. Besides the point made, the style and shape of the twig remains unaltered -- retaining the natural aesthetic of the branch.
