Starbucks' Bicerin Puts a New Spin on a Traditional Espresso Drink

At just five Starbucks Reserve locations, coffee lovers have the chance to try the all-new Starbucks Bicerin, which takes inspiration from a traditional espresso drink from Turin, Italy. Classically, the drink is prepared with layers of drinking chocolate, espresso and whipped milk or cream, in that order. Starbucks' own take on this beverage features chocolate sauce on the bottom with an extra-thick topping of milk crema on top that's ideal for scooping with a spoon.

Starbucks' Bicerin is available in two varieties, one with pistachio and one with chocolate, both of which are served with a zesty orange topping to provide notes of citrus that complement the flavor and texture of the layered espresso beverages.

The Bicerin is a permanent new menu addition and it can only be found at select Starbucks Reserve locations across the United States.
