This Stacked Building Concept Will Replace the World Trade Centers

This new stacked building concept will stand in place of the World Trade Centers. The architectural design idea from Foster and Partners will resemble the look of a child's building blocks stacked atop one another. The stacked building concept is called 'BIG' and it will consist of glass-clad paneling. The entire building will expand across a 16 acre lot.

Each block-like section of the building will be home to a different industry. As the blocks progress upward, they will be stacked like a staircase allowing for outdoor green spaces to be incorporated into each blocked level. Each block will decrease slightly in size as they get closer to the sky.

The building details state that the height will reach 1,340 feet and the total area will accumulate 2.8 million square feet.
