Springboard Innovation of Portland, Oregon was founded by Amy Pearl, and serves to help inspired community members who aren't sure exactly what they want to do in the social sector.
Founded in 2005, Springboard operates an educational program called Local Agenda that serves as an incubator, helping community members figure out the path they want to take and then linking them up with a mentor and early-stage funding. Springboard also has an educational program for baby boomers and high school students.
Springboard Innovation has also designed and implemented ChangeXchange, an online tool aimed at filling the gap for critical seed-funding, and is working on opening Hatch, an innovation incubation lab.
