Fruity Spoon Straws

The Granadilla Helps Eaters Enjoy Sweet Fruit Flesh Without the Mess

The design firm Joan Rojeski Studio recently put together an innovative eating utensil called the Granadilla that will help consumers enjoy fruit flesh through a plastic spoon straw, without a messy experience. The straw is designed to pierce the flesh of the fruit and allow consumers to suck up the seeds as well flip between using a spoon to scoop the flesh. The innovative design keeps consumers hands free of mess or sticky syrup, without compromising the eating experience.

The Granadilla straw is made from plastic and carries the same name as the fruit it is meant to be used on. The straw is short in height and features a diagonally cut tip on one end that is designed to pierce the fruit. A rounded stopper keeps the straw from entering the fruit entirely, while consumers sip away at the seeds and flesh.
