Tesseract has created a more efficient spacecraft propulsion system, that is more powerful and fuel-efficient than conventional designs. Previously spacecraft propulsion used a fuel called Hydrazine, which is a toxic chemical. Tesseract has stated that it has found a safer and more powerful alternative chemical to use, however it will not state what chemicals are used in this fuel. The company has even completed a test launch earlier this year.
Tesseract will work towards offering two services. The first of the company's services is Polaris, which is a spacecraft that will operate in short ranges to put satellites into orbit. Polaris will be powered by Rigel engines. The second service the company looks to offer is Adhara, which is a propulsion system for smaller satellites or spacecrafts.
