Stylized Space Station Photography

This Shoot Takes a Look at the Other Side of Space Travel

Space station photography is not usually the first thing people think of when asked about space photography. The shots of Earth or various shots of the moon are classic and iconic but this shoot takes a look at what else goes into being an astronaut.

Edgar Martins has had a self-proclaimed lifelong obsession with space travel and this love for space comes out in these shots of the European Space Agency. This photo series is pretty all-encompassing and covers much of the station.

Martin's goal was to take a look at not only the exciting and relevant aspect of space travel which ends up being the big photos of stars, planets and other space debris, but to focus a bit more on the personal aspect of being an astronaut. The shoot is compelling and the shots look great.
