Samsung is Inviting People to Take a 'Space Selfie'

Using a super-pressure helium balloon, Samsung launched S10 5G smartphones 65,000 feet above the earth to kick off its Space Selfie initiative. For the Space Selfie experience, two custom apps were created to send and receive selfies. While the Samsung smartphone soars high above the atmosphere, people have the chance to get a photo of their face in space by taking a selfie and uploading it to the Mission Control site—which shares real-time images from space.

In just a few days, Samsung will be unveiling its first Space Selfie with the help of model Cara Delevingne at the newly opened Samsung KX experience space. Like Delevingne, football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also been named a "Space Selfie pioneer."

For a limited time from October 23rd to 31st, people will have their chance to get their own Space Selfie online.
