Rose & Grant Café Offers Animal-Free Scottish Breakfast Sandwiches

The Rose & Grant Café located in Glasgow, Scotland offers consumers a vegan version of the popular Scottish breakfast sandwich that traditionally contains a square sausage patty in the centre to now have soy sausages. The faux meat is made using a soy base seasoned and shaped in the same way the traditional sausage square are that are equally as compatible for cooking and deep frying.

The new soy sausage sandwiches offer vegans a way to enjoy the culinary breakfast meal that is so popular throughout Scotland without having to compromise their animal-free lifestyle. The soy sausage looks and taste similar to the meat alternative, except that it is made using plant-based ingredients sandwiched between fresh bread buns. According to owner Ben Rose, the vegan breakfast sandwiches are incredibly popular with millennial eaters.
