The BuzziBlinds Can Open and Close to Reduce Surrounding Noise

Alain Gilles is the creator of the 'BuzziBlinds,' a sound-absorbing room divider that was made for open office spaces.

The dividers are offered in a number of different fabric and color schemes to satisfy consumers, from bright pink to grey and white -- "including several from Danish textile manufacturers Kvadrat." Alain Gilles attaches five felt panels to a sleek wooden base for the BuzziBlinds, which can then be rotated to control the level of noise that gets through.

When the sound-absorbing dividers are open, workers get a full view of the surrounding space and they're not left stuck inside a tiny cubicle all day. The BuzziBlinds can also be used to set up meeting spaces within the office, with the lightweight panels able to be moved around to form an impromptu private room wherever needed.
