Christopher Yamane created the sound shifting Wassiliscope and the telescope like device uses light waves and turns them into sound waves. The device uses the varying degrees of light in color to be able to match it with an individual sound wave. The light waves are thrown through a triangular oscillator in the device and outputted to the headphones attached to the device so one can literally look at anything and receive a different sound.
