Sorbet-Inspired Ruffled Fashion

Maurizio Galante's Multi-Tiered Collection

Ruffles are the ultimate in femininity, and Maurizio Galante’s gorgeous floaty ruffled dresses and jackets are divine. The bright pink, orange and yellow ooze summer sorbet to me; however, this is in fact the designer’s Fall/Winter collection for 2008/09, titled "Objects."

The collection was displayed on the runway and later in the windows at the French Ministry of Culture and Communication Jardins du Palais Royale alongside sculptural and lighting creations also by Galante.
