The Sonos Studio London space was designed to be a hotbed for local music culture. The second creative space from the music brand, the studio is situated in a historic Shoreditch building originally occupied by a printworks and more recently housed a large catering kitchen.
The Sonos Studio London was designed by local designer consultancy Brinkworth and features work stations, listening rooms and a cafe. Overall, Brinkworth worked to enact the brand's vision of a home-inspired space that could serve as a workshop, meeting space and creative community hub similar to their original Los Angeles facility. A unique design factor of the Shoreditch studio is the salvaged timber floor from the former BBC World Service Studios at Bush House on the Strand.
