Luxurious Waterfront Hotels

The Sofitel Darling Harbour Has Triangular Sailing-Inspired Accents

Local architects Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp created the Sofitel Darling Harbour, the first international new build hotel in over a decade in Syndey, Australia. Placed on a prime waterfront location, the hotel has vast views of the city's Darling Harbour.

Spread over 35 floors, the new hotel is the area's tallest building, featuring triangular sail-inspired accents. The Sydney-based designers created a luxurious yet comfortable interior in each of the 590 guest rooms. By using a blue and white color scheme throughout, each room looks as if it blends into the surrounding ocean and sky. On the fourth floor there is an outdoor lap pool, with views of the city and the hotel bar.

The new Sofitel Darling Harbour is a high-end hotel in the center of a culturally packed city, making it an instant tourist attraction.
