According to this infographic, 58% of active social media users in Arabia use Facebook. Facebook has been a long standing social media outlet since its debut back in 2007. Surprisingly Google+ has a huge social media standing out East. It has a reported 26% of the active social media users on the site. This is more than Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest. This is shocking as Google+ is a fairly brand new endeavor from Google.
However, according to the Social Media Consumption in Arabia infographic, Twitter users are more likely to share links and personal data then any other social media outlet. This is surprising as only a reported 15% of people actively use.
