This Social Distancing Wearable Enforces Protocol

This social distancing wearable has been designed by Romware as a technology solution for workers that could help dramatically to keep them protected from infection and with contact tracing in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The bracelet works by utilizing a geo-fencing feature that would send a warning to the wearer in the form of a vibration if they get closer than six feet to someone else. The data collected by the wearable would also be effective at helping employers with contact tracing to know who a sick person interacted with to prevent outbreaks.

The Romware social distancing wearable is focused on privacy to boot by not sending data to an offsite server and will automatically delete all of its data after 14 days.
Trend Themes
1. Privacy-protected Wearables - Design wearables that prioritize privacy by not sending data to servers and deleting all data after a set period of time.
2. Proximity Monitoring - Create wearable technology that can monitor proximity and provide warnings to users if they get too close to each other to help with social distancing and prevent the spread of illness.
3. Contact Tracing Wearables - Develop wearables that can collect data to aid in contact tracing, allowing employers to know who a sick person interacted with to prevent outbreaks.
Industry Implications
1. Healthcare - Incorporate proximity-monitoring wearables for healthcare workers to help with social distancing and disease prevention.
2. Manufacturing - Introduce proximity-monitoring wearables for manufacturing workers to increase safety and adherence to social distancing protocols.
3. Education - Implement contact tracing wearables for students and staff to prevent outbreaks in schools and universities.
