Snapchat 'Snappables' were recently introduced as a new addition to the ephemeral social media app as a way for friends to interact and play games with one another in augmented reality.
The Snappables can be controlled in a number of ways, including by touch, motion and changing facial expressions. These new AR Snappables can be found in the same place as lenses within the Snapchat app, allowing friends to partake in activities to fight off aliens, start a rock band, compete in a game of basketball and more fun.
While there are just a handful of Snapchat Snappables that have been released for the launch of the new AR feature, Snap promises that there will be new Snappables for social media users to play around with on a weekly basis.
