To create the brand's new 'Smoldering Rose' candle, FTD has partnered with Caroline Fabrigas, CEO of Scent Marketing Inc., a recognized expert in the art and science of scent. FTD wanted to honor its history as a floral brand while also extending the enjoyment of receiving flowers by combining lovely floral arrangements with a present that is sure to last for a longer period of time.
The brand collaborated with Caroline to develop a unique and versatile fragrance for the candle, aiming to have the scent garner adoration from individuals worldwide. Given that there are countless varieties of roses, each with a distinctive aroma profile, a rose was the ideal initial candle for the brand. 'Smoldering Rose' was a creative journey that, like a bouquet, captured the depth and sensual signals appropriate for the season.
'Smoldering Rose' offers a base scent of earthy musk, frankincense, and agarwood that is perfectly complemented by hints of cumin, caraway, fresh rose, cedarwood, and vetiver. 'Smoldering Rose' is slated for release on November 8, 2022.
