The Misfit Vapor Smartwatch Device Can Operate Independently

The Misfit Vapor is a new smartwatch device from the Fossil watch brand that enables users to maintain connectivity without having to have the device constantly connected to a smartphone.

Set to launch later this year at a cost of $199, the Misfit Vapor smartwatch can play music and track runs, and save the data captured for syncing once a smartphone is connected later on.

The Misfit Vapor is outfitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 process as well as 4GB of storage. The battery within the smartwatch device is purported to provide up to two-days of battery life on a single charge. The device features water resistance that will allow it to be worn during aquatic endeavors without having to take it off.
