The Pokémoji Keyboard Turns Pokemon into Smartphone Emojis

In light of the growing revival of the Pokemon universe thanks to the Pokemon Go app, creatives Laureen Minet and Kevin Magalhaes have put together a collection of smartphone emojis inspired by the different Pokemon characters. The visual keyboard, called Pokémoji, takes inspiration from the Pokemon Shuffle and allows consumers to communicate digitally with one another using the different characters and symbols exclusive to the anime game.

The Pokémoji emojis are a two-dimensional rendering of each of the noteworthy characters from the game, ranging from Pikachu to Charmander. The characters are depicted in a much more minimal styling than the smartphone game, with a design that eliminates shading and harsh outlines while retaining the bright colors. The keyboard can be downloaded and set up as an extension of an iOS keyboard for easy access and use.
