The Vatican Debuted a Smart ‘eRosary’ That Fuses Religion & Tech Together

In today's increasingly tech-driven world, it may not come as a surprise that a new smart eRosary has been introduced by 'Click to Pray' -- a platform founded by the Vatican.

The wearable smart gadget looks like a traditional rosary but targets technology-focused youths. To activate the eRosary, users simply make the sign of the cross and to synchronize the device with their smartphone, users can use the accompanying app. The app allows users to access an audio guide, personalized content, track a user's progress, and view exclusive images.

According to Click to Pray's website, the eRosary was created to "to help young people pray the Rosary for peace and to contemplate the Gospel." Consumers can purchase the eRosary online for €99 ($110).
