Sleek Smart Bras

The Sensilk Fight Tech Bra Closely Considers Fit

Other smart bras might have the technology to measure metrics such as heart rate, respiratory rate and calories burned, but they don't come in the sleek, sophisticated package that is Sensilk’s Fight Tech bra.

The bra is coming at a perfect moment, as fitness culture gains traction, and with it, the women's sportswear market. Developed by expert design engineer Donald Yang, the Sensilk Fight Tech Bra differs dramatically from other wearable options out here, such as the Fitbit, which are primarily geared towards men.

Given the fact that this biometric garment is a bra, the fit was more of a primary concern in the design. Designer Ashley Tyler explains, "Women have more hills and valleys than men, so we really needed to nail down the fabric, as that affects wear and drape." The finished product is made from moisture-wicking polyester, spandex and nylon, and features mesh panels and padded inserts for maximum comfort.
