Designer Aaron Saxton created this slicing device that will make precision cuts of paper, fabric and foam. Vector is a hybrid tool of a straight-edge and a cutting mat.
The product looks like a ruler that is fastened to a rectangular base using two springs. The connected springs allow materials to be placed below the ruler and sliced in perfect lines. Due to its spring-connected pieces, the device is compatible with various material thicknesses. However, the maximum height is six millimeters, which allows for thick paper and cardboard to have perfectly cut edges.
This slicing device will save space on one’s work desk while simultaneously allowing for a perfect cut each time. Vector is a great product for homemade arts and crafts or handyman projects.
