Zaha Hadid Architects is all set to launch an incredible new skyscraper in Qatar, more specifically the country's very first sustainable city Lusail.
This particular tower, which is all set to be completed by the year 2020, borrows a host of design cues from the desert hyacinth, a beautiful flowering plant that is native to the Arabian Gulf region in which Qatar happens to be located.
The building will offer a total floorspace in the region of 70,000 square meters, and will soar to a height of 38 stories. It will include residential and hotel spaces, and will also boast a special latticed facade that will mitigate solar heat gain.
