Lock keys will quickly become a thing of the past with the invention of the Skylock bike lock that uses a rider's smartphone to secure their bicycle.
The Skylock bike lock was developed by two engineers to function without the need of a key. Instead of a key, this bike lock unlocks using your smartphone's Bluetooth technology. All you have to do is download the Skylock app and press on the "hold to unlock" button at the bottom of the screen to release the lock. With a battery-charging solar panel infused within the lock, the Skylock will always be ready to use whenever you need to lock up your bike.
