An immersive skate jam pop-up is coming to The Berrics in Los Angeles on September 1st from 7 PM to 11 PM. This 18+ event is co-organized by Hypebeast and Pop-Tarts, which is an unlikely but cheeky pairing.
Officially named the Crazy Good Skate Jam, the pop-up will feature a competitive skate contest, various sampling opportunities, and an opportunity to shop the Proper Gnar merch capsule which is "inspired by the bold flavors of Pop-Tarts." From apparel and hats to skate decks and grip tapes, the dessert-inspired merch line is playful and whimsical as it draws on the iconic frosting, filling, and sprinkles of Pop-Tarts.
In addition to the skate competition, for which there are cash prizes, as well, the skate jam pop-up will have free time for guests to ride ramps and boxes.
