The Sistema Alternator Sculpture Comments on Man and Machine

Trend Hunter has featured a lot of intriguing circuit board creations before, but I have to say that the Sistema Alternator sculpture takes the cake and then some. This giant circuit board head was created out of recycled computer parts, including the keyboards that make up the lips.

Designed by Argentine art collective Colectivo GIB, which consists of Cristina Galera, Pablo Irrgang, and Florencia Botindari, the Sistema Alternator sculpture's main feature, however, is clearly the welded circuit boards held together with an aluminum frame.

As though commenting on the ideas of man and machine, the Sistema Alternator sculpture not only looks impressive, but also provides a thought-provoking piece of art. What do you think of this amazing sculpture?
