Danone Recently Launched the 'Silk Greek Style Coconut Yogurt'

Danone has launched a new range of plant-based yogurts under its Silk brand called 'Silk Greek Style Coconut Yogurt.' Created to taste and feel just like traditional Greek yogurts, this new line of products presents an intriguing dairy-free option for those with dairy allergies or for individuals on specialty diets.

These yogurt alternatives are currently being offered in strawberry, blueberry, vanilla, and lemon flavors and contain 10g of protein per cup. Made with coconut milk and pea protein, the macronutrient profile of these products aligns closely with that of traditional dairy-based yogurts. Each cup is 190-200 calories and contains 10g of saturated fats and 9-12g of sugar.

"This is the thickest, best-tasting plant-based yogurt on the market with double-digit protein," explains Lia Stierwalt, the Senior Director of Marketing at Danone, who believes this new product will "disrupt" the industry in yogurt industry in a profound way.
