Duty-Delegating Baby Monitors

This Silent Baby Monitor System Consists of Vibrating Wearables

The first of its kind, this silent baby monitor is designed to help parents from having late-night fights. The NapTime system uses two vibrating Bluetooth-connected bracelets to rotate duties throughout the night. Developed with sleep deprived parents in mind, the wearable device will only vibrate for the person whose turn it is, allowing him or her to take care of the newborn without waking the other parent.

A smartphone with the NapTime app or a camera can also monitor the infant. The app knows when the baby is crying and will send a notification, alerting the right parent. If bracelets come off, the silent baby monitor system can tell and will either let the other parent know, or if both are off it will call the parents' phones. This is ideal if new parents are so sleepy they fall asleep without their wristbands.
