Water Conservation Playlists

WaterAid Created a Shower Playlist to Encourage Reduced Water Use

The summer heatwave in the UK has caused some reservoirs to dry up and water warnings to be issued—in order to bring attention to the fact that people need to be sparing with their water usage, WaterAid created a unique shower playlist.

The unconventional playlist on Spotify is made up of songs that are just four minutes or less, which matches the amount of time that water companies suggest for bathing. In total, the shower playlist contains 40 songs so that one's water use can be easily monitored with the ending of a song.

The playlist contains a mix of songs from different genres, as well as some water-themed titles like 'Water Under the Bridge' by Adele and Calvin Harris' song 'Drinking from the Bottle.'
