Short Circuit by Gaspard Tine-Bere Are Made from Landfill Materials

The Short Circuit collection is made up of eco-friendly kitchen appliances. They have been created using recycled glass and cork materials found in landfills. Transformed into new toasters and kettles, the Short Circuit appliances sport a simplistic aesthetic that will appeal to many, not just environmentally conscious individuals.

Designed by RCA graduate Gaspard Tiné-Berès, the Short Circuit collection has a decidedly scientific look about it. The French product designer explains, "My coffee-maker, kettles and toaster are made out of re-used components and factory seconds glassware such as wine bottle and chemistry beakers, in order to take advantage of its ubiquity and standardised dimensions." Hence the correlation.

Overall, the Short Circuit collection would make a great addition into any kitchen.
