Adjustable Kids' Footwear

The 'Shoe That Grows' Adjusts Its Size As Its Wearer's Feet Grow

The 'Shoe That Grows' is a shoe which, as its name suggests, grows as its wearer's feet grow. The shoe is fitted with a flexible compressed rubber sole and adjustable leather straps that go around the top of the foot and the rear of the heel. This setup allows the shoe to be adjusted in three places.

The shoe is available in two variants, each lasting five years. One will last from around kindergarten to fourth grade, while the other should fit comfortable from fifth grade to ninth grade. The shoe is designed to be robust and easy to use and clean.

Footwear is something most of us take for granted, but it's an unattainable luxury to many children living in poverty. Even if a child receives a pair of shoes, they outgrow them soon and then have to make do with tight, uncomfortable shoes. The Shoe That Grows aims to get rid of this problem once and for all, keeping kids' feet comfortable and safe.
