Glowing Filtration Trees

These SHIFTboston Treepods Help Reduce CO2 Emissions

Mother nature has a tough job of cleaning up after those often eco-irresponsible humans, so the SHIFTboston Treepods may help alleviate some of this polluting stress. Although these pieces may look like a giant glowing art installation, they are actually air-filtering creations.

Designed by Mario Caceres and Cristian Canonico, the SHIFTboston Treepods are constructed entirely out of plastic bottles. The CO2 filtration system is powered by solar panels lining the top of each "tree."
