Island-Inspired Lighting

Seom Lighting Was Inspired by Jeju Island

Seom lighting, meaning "island" in Korean is a lighting series inspired by the horizons seen from Hyeopjae Beach in Jeju Island. The chic fixture is set to embody the island with an iteration that's both sleek and minimalist.

The selective matte finishing was chosen with intention, aiming to represent the natural feel of Jeju Island, an incredibly popular and beloved vacation spot in Korea. The circular fixture features a small lump in the center that's reminiscent of the Island emerging from the water. The ceiling-hung fixture is available in three colors: gray, white and black adding subtle elements of elegance into any living or dining room.

The island-inspired lighting was designed by Vaughn Shim and John Han and is the second lighting fixture to be inspired by the designers travels to the island.
