Sensation-Promoting Abodes

The Sense Home by Kazutoshi Imanaga Appeals to Sight, Smell and Sound

The Sense Home was built to appeal to all of the senses, hence its name. As Arch Daily aptly puts it, it concentrates "not only [on] 'seeing' but also [on] 'hearing' the sound of water, 'smelling' the greenery and 'feeling' the breeze in the garden, the warmth of the sunshine and the volume of the air." The Sense Home might be a very modern space to live in, but it brings people's attention to some of the things that are at once little and important.

Designed by architects Kazutoshi Imanaga, the Sense Home is located in Tokyo, Japan. It melds the outdoors with the indoors through a transparent wall for a truly immersive experience on a daily basis.
