Seer Clothing Gives Multi-Purpose New Meaning, Supports Causes

We frequently feature social businesses that sell products in order to support a cause, but occasionally we come across organizations like Seer Outfitters that aim to help a wide range of causes.

"Your t-shirt may feed the hungry or build a handicap ramp," their site says. "Your hoodie could fund an after school program. Whatever it is, our goal is to make sure every child and adult know that they matter."

Seer Outfitters also sells plaid shirts, cardigans and hats, and gives 100% of profits to charity. The "profit for nonprofit" company was launched in 2008 by Chicago Bulls basketball player Kyle Korver and his brother Klayton, who still run the business together.

"Over the last 5 years, we have worked hard to create a profitable clothing company that funds the eclectic nonprofits that operate through and with the help of the Kyle Korver Foundation," the website explains.
