The Sedlec Ossuary Decorates With the Dead Instead of Burying Them

Usually when a person dies it is common that they are buried or burned but at the Sedlec Ossuary they are used as decor.

Located in the Czech Republic this "burial" ground is the sight to see if you miss the bone structure of your loved one. Located underneath The Cemetery Church of All Saints this cemetery is said to contain between 40,000 and 70,000 real skeletons. Instead of burying these passed on individuals, at the Sedlec Ossuary these deceased human beings are used as decoration for the building. The skeletons and skulls are crafted together to make chandeliers or hung delicately on the walls and ceilings.

Not only do people come to say small prayers to the deceased, but it also attracts tourist who know not a single soul in the cemetery.
