The Seattle Ultrasonics C-200 chef's knife is an ultra-advanced piece of equipment for at-home chefs to incorporate into their preparation routine that will greatly reduce their effort, while also increasing their cutting capabilities.
The knife is engineered with PZT-8 piezoelectric ceramic crystals that will generate ultrasonic vibration through the blade when in operation. The knife will thus vibrant the blade more than 40,000 times per second to vastly reduce friction and cut through foods with more than 50% less effort. The ultrasonic vibrations also keep the blade cleaner during use and prevent ingredients from sticking to it for easier cleanup.
The Seattle Ultrasonics C-200 chef's knife weighs in at 330-grams with the battery and is rated to provide up to 20-minutes of cutting use per charge.
