Sean Wei Pairs Beautiful Women with Animals in Colorful Portraits

Sean Wei sure knows how to put together visually stimulating pictures. With vibrant pastel colors, beautiful stylized women and innocuous looking animals, these digital paintings can bring out the girly girl in even the burliest of men.

Though Sean Wei crafted these collage images using computer software, he did mix a myriad of techniques and media to create each piece. The women and animals appear to be hand drawn, while the runny watercolors were clearly added in later to enhance movement in his pictures. Wei also includes geometric patterns into the backgrounds of each rendering, ultimately giving his illustrations a combined analog and digital feel.

Sean Wei currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan, where he works as a commercial designer and a graffiti artist. His affiliation with urban street art definitely comes through even in professional projects made for clients.
