This sculptural wall clock uses 3D geometric shapes to tell time. Created by Ernest Perera for Barcelona-based design hub Amor de Madre, the Do Not Disturb clocks consist of two pieces of solid beechwood. Perera carved them using his own CNC milling machine before finishing them by hand.
Inspired by famous room numbers, only 500 signed limited edition and numbered units exist. For example, Do Not Disturb 1742 is the number of John Lennon and Yoko's honeymoon suite and where they recorded Give Peace a Change. A Wong Kar-wai film inspired Do Not Disturb 2046, a hexagonal sculptural wall clock. Both have gilded hands to mark the hour and minute. Perera describes them by saying "you'll look at it without wanting to know the time."
