Designed by Tomer Gelfand in Israel, this structural staircase resembles a tornado or something you would imagine is attached to a tree house in the middle of a rain forest.
The staircase from afar looks like a large, multi-hued structure rather than a set of steps. Up close however, it is clear that the wooden swirls and a unique ascending design make up rails. The structural staircase was made from an astonishing 9,000 meters of poplar wood and despite its swirling appearance, features a durable design. The stairs are truly a marvel since unlike most staircases, they are are a suspended structure unattached to any walls.
Designed for the Atrium office, this captivating staircase is a design that visitors will likely not forget.
