The scrap wood chair by Seung Han Lee are made from reusing old timber materials. These chair are distinct in their design, and the body of the chair is made from small individual pieces of wood that have been joined together using colorful plastic resin.

Seung's philosophy for this project was to recycle, reuse and reduce. This series recreates something new from old materials, and the colorful plastic resin gives the chairs more character than plain white glue.

Seung Han Lee is a South Korean designer who specializes in recycled furniture designs, graphics and the arts. He has won numerous awards for his innovative designs, and his creations were recently featured at the 2012 London New Designer show at the Business Design Centre London in England.
