CES 2016 Revealed FLIR Systems' Heat-Sensing Camera Called Scout TK

This year's CES 2016 was where Scout TK, a thermal-sensing camera, was unveiled to the public. This unique camera looks like a miniature high-tech telescope that reads images based on heat and thermal activity.

The spy-like piece of technology is small, lightweight and can pick up any object that contains heat -- including footprints that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. With minimal functions and simplistic features, this camera allows users to control the recording, the brightness and the color palette. With a 'Lepton' core interior, the camera uses a durable and rugged rubberized exterior to resist water and shock damage.

Scout TK was created by FLIR Systems, which is a large thermal imaging company. After launching as the CES 2016, this tiny thermal camera will be set to launch for about $600 during the first quarter of the year.
