Self-Guided Wine Tasting Apps

Savor Seattle's App Offers Tasting Passports for Wine Discovery

Food tour company Savor Seattle teamed up with over 25 local wineries in order to create a series of curated itineraries and wine tastings that can be enjoyed in the area.

Rolling out three different "tasting passports" now through the end of the year, Savor Seattle is launching its first passport to highlight Washington’s wine industry, allowing users to create custom itineraries of wineries and tasting rooms throughout the Seattle area. For $59.99, users will get $50 in Lyft credits (an offer that is extended to both new and existing Lyft customers) and the chance to take part in wine tastings at 10 different locations of their choosing. The beauty of this model is that users are granted tons of flexibility, as they may select the wineries they wish to visit at once, choose as they go, as well as add or delete options. The app also offers suggestions by noting the locations that are nearby.

Once a guest has arrived at the winery, they are able to share their special code to receive a wine tasting flight. As part of a later update, Savor Seattle app users will also be able to filter their searches to show dog-friendly spaces, patios and more.
