Enrico Sassi Transforms a New Stone Dual Level Home

Architect Enrico Sassi helps with renovating a compact two-level home in Aldesago, Switzerland. It is an old building that previously functioned as a wood store, rabbit hutch, and shed. Sassi, which is based in Lugano has overseen the refurbishments transforming the utilitarian space into a functional micro home that measures out to be 14-square-meters.

The name of the update is Rustic Renovation, which started with repairing the damaged stone walls. The team then adds a new roof and installs an extra window to integrate more space-saving furnishings. Sassi talks about the design of the home, stating that "The building was in a poor condition, we paid particular attention to the recovery and enhancement of the original elements."
