Airheads Created a Unique Sandwich Bun Made Entirely of Candy

Airheads isn't one of the brands that would usually participate in National Fried Chicken Day celebrations but this year, the candy brand is getting in on the festivities by creating a first-of-its-kind sandwich bun. Made entirely from candy, the sandwich bun promises to introduce a creation so unique that "the world will finally see what's been missing in chicken."

Airheads created a rainbow-striped sandwich bun using sweet and sour Airheads Xtreme and it's stacked with the usual savory ingredients (coleslaw, spicy mayo, pickles and of course, fried chicken) and although it seems like winning the chicken sandwich wars may be a challenge without a restaurant, Airheads is giving people the chance to experience its creation through Chicago's Frances’ Deli & Brunchery for a limited time.
