The 'Hakusaku' Sake Cups Boast an Ornate Design

The 'Hakusaku' sake cups have been designed by Kenji Abe as a series of drinking vessels that elevate the simple practice of sipping a cup of sake into a decidedly different experience.

The cups are each machined out of duralumin (an aluminum alloy) to give them a matte appearance and metallic construction that's accented by a series of patterns on the exterior. The cups come in three styles that each feature a 0.6mm rim that is meant to virtually disappear when taking a sip to put the focus on the rice wine. This is achieved by creating a more balanced temperature that changes and adapts quickly.

The 'Hakusaku' sake cups also maintain a more durable construction than porcelain or glass and will also deliver a satisfying sound when clinked together for a cheers.
