Amazon Launched a New U.S. Safety Program Named WorkingWell

Amazon is launching a new workplace health and safety program named WorkingWell across its facilities in the United States with the goal of reducing recordable incident rates by 50% by 2025.

The announcement comes after Amazon invested over $300 million in safety initiatives during 2021 as part of the e-commerce giant's mission to become Earth's Safest Place to Work. The new WorkingWell safety program will help to prevent injuries, enhance wellness services, and provide healthcare at Amazon workplaces and employee homes.

Amazon ran a pilot program that was effective in reducing musculoskeletal disorders by 32% over the course of a year.
