Rusty Supercar Decals

This BMW i8 was Customized by MetroWrapz to Look Like a Rusty Car

It might seem like something of an oxymoron to have a rusty supercar, but that's indeed the case with this BMW i8 that was customized by MetroWrapz to look like a rusty car. The BMW i8 belongs to pop star Austin Mahone and is outfitted with real rust in order to create the truly unorthodox design finish.

To create the wrap, MetroSkinz took oxidized rust and applied it to a film, which enables the skin to be easily removed after the design is no longer wanted. The aesthetic of the rusty car has a number of contrasting elements that make it appear as something of an anathema unto itself. The BMW i8 supercar looks old and rusty yet is one of the newest from the automotive brand.
